In an article titled What is the World Doing to Create a COVID-19 Vaccine, the Council of Foreign Relations discusses the leading COVID-19 vaccine candidates and reminds us that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation “has been the leading nonprofit funding COVID-19 vaccine efforts.”
Here is the CFR’s data chart summarizing the New York Times, Policy Cures Research and the National Institute of Health information about the vaccine candidates and which testing phase they are in.
After reading and analyzing the article, data and charts presented, there are a few things that raise immediate safety concern and demonstrate how vaccine safety is being given lip service compared to the speed at which the vaccine candidates are brought to market.
In the first summary sentence of the article the author says, “Vaccines go through rigorous test for safety and effectiveness before they are approved for public use, a process that often takes years.”
Then, strangely, the word safety is not used again (and for a final time) until the fourth chapter of the article (How Can Vaccine Development Be Sped Up?) where the author writes:
The accelerated Operation Warp Speed timeline hinges on overlapping stages of development; mass production would begin for strong candidates even while clinical trials are still ongoing. In July, NIAID Director Anthony Fauci said he felt “good about the projected timetable,” and vaccine makers testified before the U.S. Congress that the sped-up process would in no way compromise the safety or effectiveness of a vaccine.
So the vaccine makers testified to Congress that the sped up timeline will in no way compromise the safety of a vaccine.
Of course they did. We would like to read that testimony.
Instead of a clinical trail phase lasting five years, the COVID-19 vaccines are going to be tested for safety in less than a year and half.
So we are to trust Dr. Anthony Fauci and the large pharmaceutical companies. We are to trust that a testing and safety timeline that is five times faster than a typical timeline will be safe for millions of Americans where 0% of children are dying from COVID-19 and pharmaceutical companies stand to make billions of dollars from the U.S. Government.
That’s why we like to say… In God we Trust. All other bring (safety) data.
Sounds like all of this is getting too big to fail, doesn’t it?
